Backup
Purpose and access
Backup is a platform control-plane application for D1, KV and enabled R2 backups and explicit single-target recovery. It is not a tenant workspace product. A normal organization owner is insufficient; the current runtime admits service identity or platform administrator/super administrator checks in addition to action permissions.
Backup and recovery workflow
Discover coverage and select configured resource keys. Review a selected or full-fleet run and retention effects, then track its returned run id. Inspect manifest/artifacts before an explicitly approved single-target restore. HTTP 202 is queue acceptance, not completion; successful ledger rows are not a tested recovery drill.
Documentation and evidence
Eight internal action guides include actual local Worker and SDK examples. Local identity, provider HTTP, queue and R2 boundaries do not prove live provider behavior or delivery. Exact-source development, staging and production proof and intended-reader access must be established separately.
